Meyers Brothers Kalicka P.C. (MBK), a regional public accounting firm based in Holyoke, MA, is accepting applications for its 2026 Spring Tax Preparation Internship. Requirements include the pursuit of B.S. in Accounting and the completion of junior-year accountancy prerequisites by the time of the internship. Current graduate students are also strongly encouraged to apply.
Job Responsibilities
Prepare individual, s-corp, partnership and other various tax returns for a diverse group of clients
Manage schedule and tax returns in progress
Job Qualifications
Pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is required; pursuit of MST, MSA, or other industry-related graduate degree is a plus!
Excellent analytical, organizational, and written/verbal communication skills
Sophomore students who have completed VITA or a similar tax training, Juniors and Seniors who have taken Tax 1
A demonstrated ability to remain organized and prioritize under time-sensitive and challenging conditions
Strong problem-solving, logic and reasoning capabilities
Minimum GPA of 3.0
Use of Microsoft Excel
