Our Story

In 1948, two separate accounting firms were formed: Meyers Brothers and Joseph Kalicka and Co. both firms grew substantially to become industry leaders in Western Massachusetts. To provide even better service and depth of resources to businesses and organizations in the area, Meyers Brothers and Joseph Kalicka and Co. merged in 2004 to become Meyers Brothers Kalicka, P.C. Today, MBK remains the largest public accounting firm in Western Mass, providing excellent technical expertise and advisory to business and non-profit organizations in New England and beyond.

Based in Holyoke Massachusetts, our firm is comprised of approximately 50 professionals and administrative staff, including six partners. Last year, as a firm, we helped build a house with Habitat for Humanity, gathered holidays toys for children in Springfield, gathered food for various pantry organizations and participated in numerous community events throughout the year. This year, we have committed to increasing our firm-sponsored community initiatives to provide greater opportunity for our employees to get involved and make a difference in the community.
