Sarah Rose joined MBK in early 2020 to spearhead its marketing and recruiting efforts. With over 15 years of digital marketing and communications experience, she brings a unique perspective to marketing the firm and attracting new talent. From a fresh new social media strategy, revamped digital presence, community involvement, thought leadership and more; her goal is to connect MBK to Western Massachusetts through staff involvement and amplified messaging.
Sarah Rose earned a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and a Master of Communication from Johns Hopkins University. During her time at Johns Hopkins, she focused on Digital Communication and Corporate and Nonprofit Communication, earning dual concentrations in these areas of expertise.
She is a current member of the Association for Accountant Marketing, The American Marketing Association, CPAmerica and is the co-chair of the marketing committee for the Massachusetts Society of CPAs. Her approach to marketing is simple: represent the brand in the most authentic way, that is easy to understand, is interactive and is findable. For recruiting, she focuses on making connections that go beyond a person’s resume to include finding the best mutual fit for the candidate and the company’s culture and goals.Deeply rooted in the community, she teaches dance at Nutmeg’s Dance and Theatre Co., coleads the firm's community outreach program, is a retired Boston Cannons Dancer, and is the volunteer Social Media Community Manager for the Opera House Players.
