Chelsea Russell, A&A Senior Manager

Chelsea began her career with Meyers Brothers Kalicka, P.C. as an intern in 2015 and has been working full time in the Audit and Accounting Department since June 2016. In her role as Manager, Chelsea primarily focuses on not-for-profit, commercial, and employee benefit plan engagements. Chelsea is a member of the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). 


In her new role as Senior Manager, Chelsea states, “I’m excited to be part of the next generation of leadership at MBK.  I’m looking forward to assisting with growing the firm, mentoring the young professionals, providing valuable resources to our clients, and continuing to make an impact in the communities we serve.”  


She received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Westfield State University and her Master of Science in Accounting from Bay Path University. Chelsea is licensed as a certified public accountant in Massachusetts. She also co-leads the firm’s community outreach program.


Ryan Sabin, Tax Senior Manager
Ryan Sabin, Tax Senior Manager

Ryan Sabin, from Agawam, MA, has been in public accounting since 2009, with a specialty in commercial audit and review engagements for private companies, 401(k) plans, and corporate, partnership, individual, and private foundation tax returns with a keen expertise in multi-state tax issues. His commitment to effective communication underscores his approach to customer service, fostering trust and solid relationships with clients. Ryan is a trusted advisor, and a dedicated professional committed to leveraging his knowledge and skills to support and guide his clients in all financial matters.


As a Tax Senior Manager, he is most looking forward to taking on new challenges and opportunities that contribute to the firm’s growth and help our clients with their accounting and tax needs.    


Ryan received his Bachelor of Business Management with an Accounting concentration, Bachelor of Arts in Economics, and his Master of Accountancy from Westfield State University. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA).


Mallory, Beauregard, A&A Supervisor
Mallory Beauregard, A&A Supervisor

Mallory began her career with Meyers Brothers Kalicka, P.C. as an intern and has been a valuable member of the MBK team since.  She works on a diverse range of engagements including not-for-profit, commercial audits, review and compilation engagements. She believes that friendly and timely communication is essential to providing quality customer service. 


Regarding her new role as an Audit & Accounting Supervisor, she states "In my new position as Supervisor, I’m looking forward to having a greater impact on the development of our young professionals through mentorship, guidance and supervision.”


Mallory received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and her Master of Business Administration at the University of Massachusetts, Lowell. She is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA).


Briana Doyle, A&A Supervisor

Briana Doyle serves as a Supervisor in the Audit and Accounting Department, where she prides herself on being readily available to address questions and provide solutions, aiding clients in their success and growth. 


In her new role as an Audit & Accounting Supervisor, she is excited to continue building her relationships with clients and passing on the knowledge that she has gained over the years to newer staff.


Briana holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Science in Accounting from Nichols College. She is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA).


Chris Soderberg, A&A Supervisor

Chris, from Springfield, MA, is a highly skilled professional well-versed in the diverse niches that MBK offers, particularly in audit areas, where he leads pension, non-profit, and commercial engagements. He’s also skilled in managing complex individual tax returns. Known for his outgoing personality, Chris excels at building client relationships, streamlining engagements, and meeting needs with high satisfaction. He’s dedicated to excellent customer service, always aiming to build trust and improve his work.


In his new role as an A&A Supervisor, he states “I am excited with the new opportunity it allows in regard to management related roles at the firm. I am hoping to gain more experience on the business aspect of the firm relating to billings, proposals, and scheduling while continuing to grow as it relates to the service side of the firm. With the new title, I hope it assures clients that they are in good hands as I manage their engagements."


Chris graduated from the College of Our Lady of Elms with a Bachelor of Accounting and Management and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Financial Planning. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA).

Peter Kravetz, from Longmeadow, MA, has been a dedicated practitioner of public accounting since 2007. His approach with clients is simple and effective: the client’s needs always come first.  With 17 years of experience in the field, he has built his career on a strong foundation of servicing clients, always putting their needs at the forefront. 


Regarding his new role as a Tax Supervisor, he states "I am really hoping to get more directly involved with both clients and internal staff to help them learn and grow." 


Peter received his Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and his Master in Accounting from Western New England University. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA).


Francine Murphy, Tax Supervisor
Fran Murphy, Tax Supervisor

Francine joined MBK in 2013, with significant tax preparation experience and a special focus in tax preparation for not-for-profit organizations and individuals. She will be taking on a larger leadership role with the firm’s tax-exempt clients, preparing larger 990 returns, and reviewing smaller tax-exempt clients. 

 

In her new role as a Tax Supervisor, Francine states “I’m really excited for this new journey. I look forward to taking on more direct client responsibilities and helping in continuing to build the firm’s reputation in Western   Massachusetts.”

 

Francine holds an Associate degree in Accounting from Holyoke Community College and recently completed her Bachelor of Accounting from Westfield State University. She is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA).


Samantha Calvao, Tax Senior Associate

Sam is a dedicated and detail-oriented professional who began her career in public accounting in 2021 in Springfield, MA. She specializes in taxation, audit, and assurance, with a particular focus on taxation and bookkeeping. Committed to prioritizing client needs, Sam strives to assist her clients effectively.


As a Tax Senior Associate, she is excited to have the opportunity to take on more responsibility and have a greater impact within the team and the organization. She is looking forward to mentoring and guiding junior colleagues, sharing her expertise, and contributing to the firm as a whole. She is also excited about the chance to tackle more complex and high-stakes challenges, which will help her grow both professionally and personally.  

Sam holds an Associate degree in Accounting from Holyoke Community College, her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Southern New Hampshire, and her Master of Business Administration from Fitchburg State University. She is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA).


Andrea Latour, Tax Senior Associate

Andrea Latour, from Southwick, MA, excels in client service, bookkeeping, and problem-solving. She places a high priority on ensuring clients feel heard, understood, and respected. Her main focus lies in client bookkeeping and write-up tasks, encompassing monthly reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, quarterly payroll returns, and tax filings (including meals and sales tax). 


Entering the year in her new role, Andrea states "I am most excited to take on new challenges and use my current skills to maintain and develop client relations.  I believe in MBK’s mission and values, and I look forward to contributing to its growth."


Andrea obtained her Associate degree from the Certified Paralegal program at Becker College. She is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA).


Jonathan Lemoine, A&A Senior Associate

Jonathan began his career in public accounting in 2019. His approach to customer service centers on exceeding expectations. Jonathan believes in building trust and loyalty through proactive problem-solving, and clear communication. He places a strong emphasis on rapid response times and anticipates potential issues, ensuring a seamless and positive client experience. Jonathan's commitment to exceptional service is reflected in every aspect of his work. 


Regarding his new role as Senior Associate, he states "I am enthusiastic about contributing to our firm's growth by bringing fresh perspectives to our financial strategies. I aim to play a pivotal role in shaping projects that will push our capabilities forward, fostering an environment where innovation thrives alongside our core accounting services.”


Jonathan holds his Bachelor of Science in Business Management with a concentration in Accounting and his Master of Accounting from Westfield State University. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA).


Nicholas Mishol, A&A Senior Associate 

Nicholas, from Longmeadow, MA, values teamwork and meticulous attention to detail. He believes the cornerstone of client relationships is clear communication, ensuring mutual understanding of needs and expectations. 


Nicholas states, “I am looking forward to taking on a leadership role with engagements I have worked on for a few years. Internally, being a leader of the MBK team assigned to the job and externally connecting more with the client.”


Nicholas holds an Associate degree in Business Administration from Holyoke Community College and his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA).

There are many several positive reasons for rolling over funds from one IRA to another, or from a 401(k) plan or other employer retirement plan to an IRA. They include wanting to consolidate retirement savings into one account or moving funds from one account into another that offers more attractive investment options.
